including but not limited to Microsoft Windows Vista and 7, Microsoft Office 2003 & 2007.  If you’re a recent switcher to the Mac, I also offer training in iPhoto, iTunes and the nuances of the Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard operating systems, as well as virtualization on both platforms.

Network setup: $65/hour

From setting up a network in your home, to finding the best solution for high-speed reliable internet access for your small business, I am up to the challenge, no matter how big or small.

Web presence consultation: varies

I can host your web site, setup and host your email server, and keep your e-commerce site up-to-date and secure. 

Computer repair & upgrades: $65/hour + parts (on-site) or $125 + parts (in office)

If your computer is giving you blue screen error codes, or isn’t able to power on, I can fix it. I have the experience and the tools required to diagnose your computer. From replacing hard drives and memory, to upgrading a power supply, and even fixing laptops, Manderso Consulting can get your computer back on track.

Completing this work in office also includes running our computer optimization package for free.  This guarantees you a machine that feels like new when you get it back.

Data backup: $65 + Parts

Did you know that if your computer is going slower and slower or you’re getting a “S.M.A.R.T” error code when you boot-up, your hard drive could be failing. Do you have a data backup solution? What about those pictures you were going to put online, but haven’t gotten around to?  I can setup an on-site or online backup solution to keep your data safe.

Virus & Malware removal: $65/hour (on-site) or $85 (in office)

Has your computer slowed down drastically? Are you being prompted to install various antivirus or antispyware scanners, or are you getting bombarded with popup windows offering to scan your computer? These are all signs that your computer is infected with a virus or spyware.
We rely on a suite of tools to remove the problems infecting your computer, and assist you in keeping the machine clean in the future. There is no perfect solution to the Malware/Virus problem, but with the right balance of protection software and user attention, a system can stay clean.

Note: Before performing a virus/malware removal in office, a complete backup of the system will be made.  This is included in the price of the service.

Computer Optimization: $65/hour (on-site) or $85 (in office)

This includes the removal of temporary files and uninstalling the useless programs that have been installed by the manufacturer, or even by the user.  This can also include reinstalling the operating system or installing a newer operating system.  I can accurately identify hardware and software solutions to elicit the best possible performance from your system.

Note: Before performing a computer optimization in office, a complete backup of the system will be made.  This is included in the price of the service.

Free pickup and delivery are included in the in office price.

My prices are lower when I’m working at the office, due to the fact that I can work on more machines at once.  Virus removal, operating system installation and computer optimization can all take longer than an hour, sometimes 3 or more.  It’s generally more cost-effective to allow me to work on it in the office.  Most office work generally takes 2 days to complete.
